all the tracks are absolutely insane but masstaden nationalsång under vatten was so crazy to hear considering that it was literally their first album on one song lol. i was watching the premiere when it dropped and me and 600+ were fangirling over that song lmao. we were like YOO SHADOW YOOO DAGGER YOOOO PHOBON NIKA

Branmarkt to Passage Noir I see as a single song because of how prevalent the leimotif's are but I think Vagabond is my favorite.

Really interesting album. Love the artwork in combination with the atmospheric and unique nature of their sound. Also, not sure if you noticed this, but if you look closely at the tree on the left of the "Paaradiso" artwork, it says "THALL" in small letters carved on the tree. LOL

@@christopherblowers443 It’s just perfect dude, unique and every song just slaps. I spend 12 to 13 hrs a day in a semi truck so I get to listen to most of the new releases. Don’t get me wrong, there’s a lot of amazing work that had been put out recently but this is just another level. I’ve been listening to heavy music of all kinds now for 30 years and I just didn’t even know that you could take a genre in this direction. I don’t have an album make me tear up often but this one did twice lol.

A couple of considerations about the album and vildhjarta itself: -They ALWAYS wrote music in 4/4, with that said, the usually make tempo changes from riff to riff and even drop tempos in the middle of the last meassure. -The cleans are the MOST important part of vildhjarta. Some cleans that they used are from the early days of vildhjarta, even before Massteden 1. We talking about 2005/2006. -They still using a Line 6 POD XT Live for all guitars plus a Digitech Whammy DT in some parts, and some of those cleans are recorded with an old Line 6 Spider. -This is the first time that vildhjarta record Real drums, that's why the album was delayed a couple of months more.

Absolutely love this album. I am still digesting it. I knew I would be challenged by its length and technicality. My personal album of the year as I am a djentleman in spirit, but goddamn if it isnt punishingly sad in the best way possible. Hope everyone enjoys it and can find their thing with this. I have been so invested and to see the investment pay off makes me so happy. Thall to everyone. I hope you all stay well ❤

I'm thinking Album of the Year. I gotta listen through again to fully understand, but I haven't had my mind blown like this in a while. Vildhjarta is ahead of the game, maybe by 10 years or so. Absolutely incredible.

Humanity's Last Breath's new album has actually claimed my #1, because it is almost as innovative and dynamic, and is in a much more digestible format (50 minutes is already a sizeable album, 80 is a lot, even if it does completely seize my attention, which Vildhjarta does).

I been a Meshuggah fan for years and I have to say that Vildhjarta are fantastic this new cd by them took 10 years to make and its great to see Buster Odeholm from: Humanity Last Breath on Drums for Vidhjarta and he Mix and Master this as well what a great job he did. Ever thing is there music wise from VILDHJARTA: Tone, Time Changes, Tempo, Complexity, Production with the Mix its all there etc. I have not stop playing this cd in my car its jaw dropping and Wow is the only word!!!!

This is my album of the year by miles; it's made others sound bland by comparison. Such a trip as a whole, hard to pick a single, but kaos2 starts off so frantic and epic, and ends super smoothly. Instrumentals are all phenomenal.

While that album as a whole is a complete journey, I still can't get over the mood between phantom assassins, sunset sunrise and sunset sunrise sunset sunrise (which basically feels exactly like reading what I just wrote lol). That complete passage as a whole is my favourite part of the album. Also, finally someone who recognised those short notes from Dagger :D
