I’m just not there yet. I love every song on the album except this one. I skip over it every time. A little too metal heady for me.

This song and his cover of last resort are perfect examples as to why Ronnie is my favorite vocalist ever

Metal is not about fast incomprehensible notes or screaming lyrics. People just don't like 72 seasons cause its "new" and that pisses me off

So I’m gonna go off the beaten path, I’m seeing lots of classic rock influences and 00s pop influences here. Van Halen vibes with the guitar solos and the tone a bit leans toward Eddie’s iconic brown sound. Camille is giving me straight telephone era Lady Gaga vibes, while the band is giving me Rammstein, a little bit of electric callboy. Her vocals remind me a lot of Katy Perry’s vocals with a similar range of Tatiana Shmalyuk of Jinjer, and some of the more pop elements of this song remind me of Katy Perry. Which is why some people may also say it’s Paramore because Katy and Hayley Williams both have similar voices. I enjoyed this a lot, it is something brand new that a lot of metal heads, polyjamorous heads, and normies can equally get their heads around. Her vocals are absolutely insane, she hits super clean head voices without losing the power and drive of her voice. The reason why Courtney and Tatiana are legends in the business is because they both have amazing tonal qualities. Courtney has a Lana del Rey vibe to her voice, and Tatiana has a Stevie Nicks vibe to her voice. Camille has the ability to be the third head on the female metal Mount Rushmore (for me at least). I can’t wait for more stuff from them.

I feel like he is very new to poppy's music, but every single album she's put out have songs that are all over the place genre wise, not just negative spaces. Saying that this album is "casting a net" would be like saying every single album she's put out is the same way, instead of saying she's making music she wants to make, no matter the "genre". Not to mention saying she's "casting a net" is a huge disservice to the effort she's put into her songs.

Just a note because that one dude in the comments made me really mad with his BS: The story about Jonny supposedly "running over his ex" is blown way out of proportion, and more importantly, out of context. Jonny already addressed it, WITH RECEIPTS, mind you, and it was an accident, and the reason the photos she posted were so gnarly is because of a surgery she had to undergo due to an infection that occurred because of the IV in the hospital. She also conveniently left out that just before this happened, she had hit him in the face with a can of beer. It was never a matter of people "not caring" because the band is great, it's because anybody who actually paid attention to the situation knows that there was fault on both sides, and Jonny was never the monster or scumbag he was disingenuously painted as.
