I would love to play in Megadeth although I Know Sir Dave Mustaine would say no to it, which I totally understand! 😅 I did GGU course from Ben Higgins. You might think you can’t write songs. I would agree that’s normal statement but after GGU I can say that’s not true! Everyone can do it! Just need to follow the guidelines of the course! It really puts you on the right path to become better and better on song writing!

It's a really cool lick! I just watched a Paul Gilbert video from a few years ago in which he talks about outside picking, in shuffle. This lick has outside and inside. It will be a good complement to the Paul Gilbert lick in my practice.

When i tried this I found myself economy picking a down stroke when coming back to the B string. Starting on a downstroke, alternate pick the 5 notes so the last note is down, then just push it through to another down starting the full thing again. But now I'm going to work on it your way. cool stuff!

Okay Ben you know me, I got no bragging Rights. But this must be a good sign because I really didn't find this that hard. I could do it about half as fast as you could in time. Not trying to brag or anything I just think it shows that the exercises are paying off. And also I did screw up and didn't maintain my alternate picking quite a few times until I figured out that that's what I was doing. Is a good exercise man ! later tater

Haha... getting bored with having to retrieve my pick from the carpet. I find it easier right hand only to start with. It seems for me that throwing in some notes fries my brain.
