Thank you for sharing this video. I've been struggling to find some inspiration to restart playing my guitar lately. It's been a while stuck in a hole and get out. This video seemed to give me at least one step up! Thanks again. If I can step up and play this I will make a video and share the link to my KZbin channel. Thanks again!

Go to your channel for acoustic knowledge. But love you electric stuff also, maybe a little more of that please. Unfortunately for myself I didn’t play for about 7 years due to carpal tunnel. Was predominantly a acoustic player before then but now post surgery have had to learn lead so I can play for a decent amount of time. During my 7 years off, learnt drums, as I thought would never play guitar again '! But, have been playing again for about 2 years now and love what I have learnt as a lead player, now I have found that can play acoustic (rhythm) again. Channel is is helping me out and to get back into that and reminding me of songs I knew once but forgotten (50 years this year). Again thank you and keep up the good work. Love the channel

Hi Geoff, that's so great that your able to play the guitar again! That must have been a great relief to see you could still do it! I will definitely do more electric stuff to, more is coming! All the best from Ireland, Cheers!

Love your videos, keep it up! One or two things here that you may have simplified for beginners. First, in the descending break that repeats twice, the first time from the C the chord goes to the G/B. Only on the second run through does it go to the Bb. It creates a nice tension for the ear, expecting the major 7 but getting the flattened 7th instead. Classic McCartney detail. The other point is that you can play a dm7 where you have the F6 in the verse. That sounds better to my ear (at least some of the time.) But I could be wrong on that one. Check it and let me know what you think. However, I’m quite certain about the descending change. Maybe you omitted for simplicity as this is a beginner/intermediate song? So glad I found this channel. My favourite songs featured from my favourite players and you play them all so well! Rock on.

How about you load up your own instruction video instead of critiquing others?
@saltwatergallery20052 жыл бұрын
@@LeslieJayBoschPhoto I love the Beatles and I’m a big fan of this channel. The channel owner liked this comment and kept it up and a couple of people found it helpful. If you’re trying to learn the song, you might want to try playing the Bb the second time through the descending riff. I don’t think that needs a whole new video to explain. Thanks for the encouragement though.

Everyone puts their own twist on songs and that is what makes playing guitar so great. When I first saw this, I thought "Great....finally found someone who plays it exactly as I do"....then I heard "Avoid the high e"....ouch...I leave it open for an Fmaj7 and then go to the F6 and avoid the high e.....think it sounds great that way....I'm playing from memory, but feel I hear that major 7th, but of course, could be wrong and usually am.....lol....great video!! Thanks!!

Hello. I have a question. Would it also work if I played all the choruses the same or should I do them differently like shown?
@larrypower86594 жыл бұрын
That first F chord is really Fmaj7, with an open 1st string. Fmaj7 to F6, which is what you’re playing anyway. Just a suggestion. Love your lessons, and nice work on the vocal, too. Not an easy song to sing.

Can you explain what the advantage is of forming the C chord starting with ring finger insteAD OF INDEX finger?
@nesta8518 Жыл бұрын
Generally play the chord down, so that’s the first fretted note you hear I guess.
@klauszimmermann53484 жыл бұрын
Hi, could you give me a idea why you call it bad to place the index finger first for the C chord. Actually I (as beginner of 3 month practicing) have problems to get my fingers down simultaneously at C. Now with you comment I practice the other way. But what is your reasoning. Thanks for your help. Charly
@GuitarPilgrim4 жыл бұрын
Hi klaus, it’s important for various reasons, for example when fingerpicking chords, the first note you pick is the bas (ringfinger for c chord a string 3rd fret) if you press first the indexfinger you’ll never get rid if the gap switching to the c chord. It also sounds less smooth
@klauszimmermann53484 жыл бұрын
Guitar Pilgrim Thx I will practice this workaround now !
