@@charlielauffer7644 We will be doing a set of some of our most popular tunes this year but as you listen to our tunes you start to realize our music is more simple than you originally thought - we play with a lot of heart but our music is very approachable if you have a solid guitar technique. The videos that we have planned will demonstrate. My playing is pretty basic classical guitar technique consisting of Rest stroke, legato, arpeggio, Tremelo, and basic rasgueado. I do believe my phrasing and tone are very good... meaning I play with a lot of feeling. I am so Blessed that I have David Chiriboga who has great technique and musical instincts and a great group of Guys playing with me that make my little melodies sound even better! That's it! Hi guys ! I recall 2 years ago transcribing Oasis by myself and watching in slow motion again and again to catch out your compas ! I finally played the "basic" 8 moves compas, but not the way you do, still the accent with the golpe were in place. So yeah please more about GuitarraAzul tutorials, both rythmic and lead please ! About songs: lead part of Oasis, ; both rythmic and lead of Esperanza, Milagros, Danza Malvada (actually all of the Mariposa album are just amazing !!!), Senorita, Desert Flower, La Tasca and Tres Lagrimas are my favorite after Oasis ^^ Cheers ! Sounds good! Thanks for the feedback. Remember that I mentioned there’s a few different variations to playing the rumba strumming. So in the end, if you still capture the grove and sound, it’s ok if you use different fingering for the strum. This is just one typical basic way to approach it.
@xifan5213 жыл бұрын
@@DavidChiriboga Thanks for advice ! Yes the variations make it sounds same time strong as flamenco compas sound but still a light touch so illt try it anyway and keep playing it the way I do too so far haha I turned the volume up and played along so much fun ! I admit there's one point I'm still struggling with over the year eventhough practicing regularly: the triplets. I undrst the three moves, practice it "in the air" but I don't manage to get that sound even increasing speed. Strange. One question, or maybe it's just a comment, I don't see how you play a golpe on the first stroke when strumming downward with your thumb. Hi Richard.... we will be doing many more of these in 2024 and yes I will comment on my soloing and melody process based on the chord changes for these songs... for some of these songs I'm thinking Harmonic minor rather than Phyrigian mode - and that mind set works for for those songs.... such as Tizi Melloul or Oasis, El Chino, Mariposa, Desert Flower, Tears is the Rain, etc. I definitely compose our music from a classical Background.

I know that this video/tutorial didn't get a lot of views, hence you might be hesitated to release a second part of the tutorial. But it would be highly appreciated if you did. I play the rhythm guitar part and my dad wants to play the lead part, but we just can't figure it out on our own at the moment. I've learned the strumming pattern, the specific chords etc. The only thing stopping us from playing "Oasis" together is that it is not that easy to exactly figure out how it is played (The lead part of course). I don't even know if I'll get a response to this comment, but if I do, I'd like to know when the tutorial (The second part) can be expected to release?

its not eminor its fminor. i will never understand why a Teacher cant be specific when using a capo. we are left to transpose which is a good lesson anyway
@mariposagoldenboy12 жыл бұрын
I think the point of David's Presentation is that when we Guitar Players use a Capo we think in terms of what key it would be without a capo.... for example if the capo was on the Fourth fret and we played a g# minor chord then a c# minor chord with open position fingerings we would think in terms of e minor and a minor. It's Like Translating from one language to another. i think in those terms often when using a capo, then I have to change my thinking when going to upper positions and return to thinking in terms of the actual key that we are in. This thought conversion is problematic at times but it's the best way for us to deal with the sometimes confusing practice of using a capo. I know that Guitar players that use "open Tunings" have similar translation issues!
