odeon basket You know, I've been playing guitar with a pick for over 30 years and I've only become interested in Flamenco guitar and the style just recently and I tell you, it's probably much easier for me because of past experience but it was still a challenge but once I've gotten the handle on it, it's absolutely super enjoyable! I feel it makes you more one with the guitar because your usuing your fingers directly and not the means of a separate tool (the pick) to play the guitar. BUT, I can't play my fast scales using picado whatsoever, just yet, as I can with a pick. I think picado is something that takes A LOT of serious practice even if you're an experienced guitar player who's always played with a pick.

Very good lesson. I will use the strumming when playing Tico-Tico. Thanks,
