That's more enjoyable than when people give you a 5-minute lecture before showing you anything, and then you have to scan through it to see if you want to watch the rest. Yes, time for me to get my classical guitar. That music is beautiful.

I am primarily an electric guitar player but wanted to broaden my horizons so i bought a classical guitar. I have to say i love it. Plus this is an exercise you can practice even when you don't have a guitar. I now have a very impressive rythym that immediately impresses the listener. Now I'd love to learn more. odeon basket You know, I've been playing guitar with a pick for over 30 years and I've only become interested in Flamenco guitar and the style just recently and I tell you, it's probably much easier for me because of past experience but it was still a challenge but once I've gotten the handle on it, it's absolutely super enjoyable! I feel it makes you more one with the guitar because your usuing your fingers directly and not the means of a separate tool (the pick) to play the guitar. BUT, I can't play my fast scales using picado whatsoever, just yet, as I can with a pick. I think picado is something that takes A LOT of serious practice even if you're an experienced guitar player who's always played with a pick.

I’ve been playing the guitar now for about 2 year on and off, I noticed that I like to play fast so my progression with standard pop songs 👎 I carnt seem to play slow I don’t use a pick and prefer to use my 🤚. After watching this I realised what I’ve been missing. This is what I now will be learning thanks for the video. Out of the three videos I’ve watched you are the best for sure. 😊

This is such a nice way to describe it. I am living in Brazil and doubt I will find flamenco lessons here. However, your videos are very easy to understand and follow along. Keep up the good work

Thanks Marcelo, this video and the one that you did for jam play are definitely the best. I watched them more than 30 times this last past few days. I was practicing on a small guitar and yesterday, I ordered a full size one from Amazon. In the next couple of weeks, I think I'm gonna subscribe at jam play just to be able to get your other video. One thing though, I would love from you to describe more the mouvements of your left hand. I have zero knowledge so I can't get the same sound when I copy the position of the finger of your left hand. Thanks again, your a great teacher
