Thank you for your reaction video to Aurora performing 'Soulless Creatures' with part of the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra. As others have mentioned, this is a elegy by Mother Earth. But, some lines can also be a beautiful awakening to love by a young heart: "Never knew this curious head of mine Never knew what is love if kept inside Nothing but an endless, empty heart Like laying in the sea within the dark"

Yes, this song is from Mother Earth's point of view, and we are the Soulless Creatures: ""It means a lot to me and it's written about giving too much. It's Mother Earth writing to humankind about wanting to thrive again." This was a special concert she did in 2020 with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra without audience during Covid lockdown, and then it was sold as a paid live stream to support the orchestra during these lock downs. Aurora also does amazing cover versions of songs, if you want to check out one or more: David Bowie - Life On Mars, channel NRK with 4.4M views, Massive Attack - Teardrop channel triplej, The Beatles - Across The Universe channel: triplej, Imagine Dragons - Believer and many more (around 30).

Oh yes! These covers are all exquisite as stand alone pieces of art. Aurora is a master of honing particular songs of others to her style and emotions. Most of these mentioned were a 'challenge' at NRK's P3 Sessions - play one of your songs ... and play a cover from a list, that you prepare in an hour. Well, not the Massive Attack and The Beatles ones.

What a stunning performance! It's made extra special by the fact that it's an extremely rare live performance of this song. But I feel, even if she did this live 100 times, this one would remain special. The orchestral arrangement fits the song perfectly, and melds so well with Aurora's very emotional delivery. My favorite performance from this concert, and probably one of my favorites overall (though it's hard to narrow them down to "favorites"). Great commentary at the end too. I agree with you 100% 👍🤘

This is an amazing song...lyrics are beautiful.....another little sample of Aurora's genius.....her message is there, personal and intimate for your understanding and what is completely undeniable is the fact she scores a direct hit in your deepest core. Great reaction. I love this song and it is special performance. I feel it is underrated Aurora song (also not played live for some reason). And this song is much easier to interpret if you know or assume it is a song from mother nature point of view. I think your interpretation and comments was on point (if you did not looked for additional information before interpreting it is great interpretation after first listen :) ).

Hello, AURORA doesn't need an orchestra. You know that. Murder song - just a guitar. But an orchestra never hurts. 😁😉🙃😇 Acapella, just a guitar or a whole orchestra. AURORA manages to use everything that is advantageous for the song. -------- I love this concert in Bergen. AURORA interpreted some songs differently. Especially the song "The River". The versions are very different. You've captured one of the possible interpretations of this song very right. AURORA never hesitates to speak out her concerns about the environmental crisis, climate change and such. great reaction! you got the right interpretation.this is the only live version (except from the beautiful 'live with aurora' home session). i don't share your optimism with the 100 years time frame after humankind is gone. the 6th mass extinction is ongoing. it took 5 mass extinctions to upraise our species (the foxp2 gene mutation).
