People keep saying hes an entry level composer because he doesn't write ridiculously hard stuff. I agree a lot of his compositions are relatively simple (btw he has written some extremely advanced stuff) but they're always perfect and very effective in getting emotion. Its not how hard he can make it, its about making it exactly what he wants and exactly what we hear and he does that better than most.

As a collector of vintage instruments for many years as well as a guitarist, I'm awestuck by the incredible tone of the Torres guitar. Any experienced guitarist will note the incredible accuracy of the octaval and harmonic notes along with the exceptional overall tone of this wonderfully constructed 129 year old masterpiece of a guitar. This all reflects what a true musical engineer Antonio Torres was and his legacy lives on today in the construction of modern day guitars based on his research and construction techniques. Also, kudos to Andrew York.......one damn fine guitarist who is able to awaken this century old gem of a guitar.....

In my opinion York has the magic, of being one of the best composers for guitar I could think of Even though his compositions seem to be relatively easy to play , the take them to the level he give them is simply not easy This man’s work has inspired me to the point of buying a classical concert guitar and returning my guitar studies on my own after approximately 15 years of absolutely no activity Had the old guitar I had hanging in the wall for about 8 consecutive years And from May of last year (2023) to now Jan 2024 I’ve recovered all the technique I had and more to the point of practicing right now Sunburst, all you need in life to succeed in anything in life is love and work into it

When someone leaves this guitar he is able to open or record any soul that is trapped by suffering or an illusion, he is able to propel our sacred energy light years towards the planet Love, and also what is necessary for us to be human, but more amazing to see over 669 people in negativity. See here and don't know how to appreciate the melody, since they say they are alive, and yes they are ... they are experiencing a feeling that they are not able to build or be love. But, it is beautiful to realize that 31 thousand people liked it! This is wonderful! Congratulate Andrew York for not only playing his instrument, but above all transmitting love to him. For me, a great artist, full of good feelings seen so clearly in every note he plays. Thank you my friend and may the universe give you much more joy and love in your life. Hassin Ghannam

Coming back and reading the comments again after learning this piece four years ago, I want to play it for more people. Apparently, it soothes the heart universally. Good medicine. I learned it while grieving the loss of my mother and just after I had written her obituary and life sketch. In the first part, I see her childhood, full of hope but even then some sadness. Middle part is when she struggled with society and rose to maturity, then began to dance. Last part is when the brain injury left her a shell of a person yet with the same spirit and goodness. End is the powerful legacy and ascent into the spirit world. All of this guides my interpretation when I play it and it is my eulogy to her, her enduring character, and her special heart.
