Remember that the brilliant Barrios was Guarani as well as Spanish. That is why he took the name Mangore, a legendary chief of the Guarani. His indigenous heritage also led him to celebrate and honor in his music the serenity of the forest where his people lived for centuries before Europeans ever arrived.

I’ve tackled many difficult pieces and this one is much much harder then it looks. Beautiful tremolo throughout and I love the tempo and interpretation. Barrios would have been very proud of this guitarist. A shining star amongst us.

I've never heard this challenging piece played any better. I also appreciated the inobtrusive subdued demeanor of the artist performing it. I never saw the need some feel it necessary to emote and weave about like a mad person as they play. Superb job. I will seek out your other videos.

I've also listened to many interpretations of this piece by many other very famous guitarists. This young lady is very much in the running for the top of the list. The technical skills to play the scales and tremolo were definitely there but also present was the ability to control the dynamics and phrasing in those difficult passages. Truly remarkable.

im not sure but im going to go out on a whim of saying.. This is possibly the best classical guitar song and performance on the entirety of youtube and it never fails to amaze me the beauty of the strings and tones of the instrument this piece of music brings out. bravo to the young woman playing her heart out you can see the dedication, practice and passion which has went into it. as of today this 15/08/22 this video only has 98572 views and 2.1k likes. That is a sorry shame cause more people need to see and hear this ms Kim play.
