thank you for your tips. Indeed slow practice is the way to go, when I didn't know about this and tried to play complex passages at their normal tempo, I usually felt like my brain couldn't control the fingers. It felt so frustrating when your brain knows what to do but you can't make your fingers to do it, that's why you have to slow everything down so that the fingers can catch up with the brain.

Hi! I'm a beginner and I really liked your tips, thanks a lot! I find it quite useful to have those tips about structuring the way I practice, learn a new piece and work on difficult segments of it. It's quite a new way of thinking for me. Thanks for sharing!

Working on Depreter's 'Moreliana' talking out loud on an area with hiccups seems to help, now to work on speeding that short section up. There will be a lot of talking to myself in the next section.
