The recording of this one wasnt too good as it was another by request show where the fans chose the setlist in France, they didnt show the gig live, however someone cleaned up the recording here and you can hear that guitar solo among other things much better kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYm0p2Zmaayafrs

I'm sure to your dismay the solo on the studio recording sounds less "full-on". When I first heard this performance I was taken aback by how great it sounded, because Matt was approximating the synth section that hits right after the Hendrix-y sounding solo that you hear on the studio recording. It's why the live solo sounds like two disparate parts strung together.
