You could also mount your patch bay at the rear side of the rack for a cleaner look. Thats usually how I mount mine and power conditioners/ power strips. Another option is to have the cables soldered/ hardwired at the patchbay rear and adjust the length of the cables according to your setup. You can probably make your own using a 19” rack blank cover, a hole saw, some solder and the connectors you need for under 50 bucks. (A 4 pack in/ out set sells for $10 on Amazon)

I had the option of having the custom cabling made, but it was cheaper to get the connectors and use the cables that I already had. I had considered putting it in the rear, but at that point I would’ve been fine just running my cables normally. But I might mess around with it depending on if I stick with the set up or not!

@@ZackSeifMusic that helps if you wanna keep your rack a little smaller instead of a 12U or something like that. I had my GK bass amp, tuner, power strip and a wireless / in ear system. That helped me keep the rack a little smaller and don’t have it looking so geeky lol 😂

@@ZackSeifMusic agree! That’s why I use a kiesel headless guitar now and a fractal FM9. My best sound ever and my smallest and lightest setup ever. It’s literally a backpack for the kiesel and a backpack for the fm9 and a few extras

Nice. Have a redco on the way. Just used the designer on their website and it was pretty simple. I like the benefits of quick front-end connections as well as protecting the integrity of the connections on the fractal. Def worth the investment on my opinion.

I made a patch bay for my singer .He has a separate rack for his wireless mic ,IEMs and a line out to his GT100 .Think it's time for another for my Axe 3 and IEMs. Great video Zack 👍👍🎸🎸
