He is from Tamilnadu he speaks tamil and Telugu well most of the people speak English not hindi, but understand Hindi. Most of the tournament was abroad so English is he common language easy to communicate

@@Username15278i He understands Hindi like most elite TN population. Will be able to understand a movie and all since we do learn Hindi at school. But we never get to talk to anyone in Hindi on a daily basis. So it's impossible for most of us to be fluent. I try sometimes but fail miserably by telling someone elder things like 'tu kya samja' and then immediately realising that I disrespected when I shouldn't have. That guilt is worse enough to make me not speak Hindi again in a public forum.

He learned a lot more during his down phase than when he won. It’s amazing he is aware of it. Not qualifying for candidates shook him and showed how important it is But it also showed him what’s more important in life. He not only learned how to reach the goal but also learned how to enjoy the little things in life. Even with so many interviews - you got different perspective and answers from Gukesh. Thank you .
