I know this match came a while ago in 2023, but Magnus is still the real world champion. If you put loads of matches between Magnus and Gukesh, Magnus would win the vast majority of those matches. If Magnus was in the world championship tournament, he would have been able to defeat both Gukesh and Ding. Prime Magnus is definitely a better chess player than Gukesh. Gukesh will never be a better chess player than Magnus Carlsen.

Sin embargo, a veces surgen posiciones complejas (como en la última partida de Gukesh contra Ding) que requieren encontrar un único movimiento que no pierde. En este caso (minuto 15:15), Gukesh habría tenido que jugar c4 y prever toda la secuencia después de Tg3+ y Tf3. No es un movimiento muy natural.
