Gukesh did better than I expected in blitz. Winning the first game and all until he lost in the sudden death game where he overpressed in a drawn position. Also understand that Pragg is a very underrated blitz player in OTB. He is probably the second best blitz player in India, next to Arjun.

Another example to why any world champ while Magnus is alive isn’t a world champ. You don’t win the title and then lose a tourney shortly after. I can understand….Gukesh is world champion…but in blitz and rapid pragg better than gukesh can say have some more experience. But these commentators especially Indian commentators always be biased ….if gukesh is world champion he can’t win all the tournaments that he is going to play in future ….surely anyone can get better of him….so here I would say pragg has too many chances after gukesh lost to Arjun very badly earlier. But fought of his life with keymer for 7 hours…but can’t do it. And came to blitz and lost the 1st game and everyone starts to tell gukesh is going to crush in 2nd game and take the tournament. But pragg played here like a warrior and win the Back to back games….took tournament with him. I love both of the guys…but media and commentators should not be biased here after anyone can beat anyone . Finally chess won ❤
