The cage of the window is the way of preventing kids from falling out of window. Not for guarding against others. It happened many times that adults left their kids home alone and tragedy happened.

it really looks awful and scary. In Europe we also have tall buildings but no one puts cages on the windows! Actually I haven’t seen it anywhere else outside of China… 🤔have you?

@@SoloTravelingGirl It hasn't been popular until 20-30 yrs ago when Most of the daycare of companies were cancelled so that kids were more likely to stay alone at home or stay with elders during summer winter vacation

@@SoloTravelingGirl that makes me curious who do the kids(under 7yrs) stay with during parents' working hours when it's winter summer vacation?
@SoloTravelingGirl7 ай бұрын
@@canalesjuan356 yes! parents work very long hours in China... grandparents can't handle much kids here now... they pass them cellphone and iPad and they just play... but I am sure there is different solution for the cages in the windows! there must be.. since in Europe or any other 6 continents I traveled to, I never saw cages on the windows! unless its grand floor, then yes, but otherwise, never. I am not sure where are you from... but 100% you don't put cages on the balcony of the apartment floor 30! do you?

Many reasons. The first is child safety. The second is typhoons. Many people like to plant on their balconies, and China has more typhoons, storms and floods than Europe, so it's easy for pots to blow over and hurt people. China is more densely populated than most of the world. The US also has this kind of weather, but the houses are wooden and rarely have a first floor. Even if there is a first floor, there is no balcony.

Well, what I learn from Chinese people is that they are really afraid that someone will break to their home and steal TV or something! They told me that it’s even possible on the floor 30th ! 😂 so they put this cages to fill save from robbery… about Typhoon 🌀well, I live here on the floor 30th and honestly I don’t feel that Typhoon 🌀 can take my plants away on the floor 30th! Unless it’s direct hit ! 🤔

@@SoloTravelingGirl China is so densely populated, with many cities having populations of more than five million, that they have to build these dense high-rises. It's really annoying sometimes.

@@sdsdj626 yea! Agree! Small city is 5+ millions but always great infrastructure! That’s the best of China! Their infrastructure is amazing! Just crowded especially during the holidays 😅😅😅 but China is still beautiful! I can’t wait to show more! Coming soon new video! Remember to subscribe! 😍😍😍😍

@@SoloTravelingGirl Travelling to China's big cities is not recommended, especially the paid tourist attractions, which are usually terrible, overcrowded and noisy. It is the smaller towns and rural areas that really reflect Chinese reality and culture, such as Putian, Quanzhou, Longyan and Chaozhou near Xiamen. You can even go to towns and villages in the middle west where, despite the underdeveloped economy, there is absolutely no problem with law and order. The only thing you will have to deal with is people looking for your photo, many of whom may never have seen a foreigner before in their lives. You have to be mentally prepared for that.

Actually it was in my plans but my train booking got messed up! I booked and paid trains 🚂 and they were never booked! 😱 night before my trains I realized that the trains weren’t booked! So I rushed to another station, 2 hours from my home and I got a ticket but I lost 1 days! I had to come back 1 day ahead cause there weren’t any tickets available. So… I didn’t go to Tulou… 😫😫😫😫
