Horrible to see the devastation and destruction that's happened over the last week. It was nice that you were able to see the northern islands in happier times. I really enjoyed your trip through the Bahamas. Looking forward to more videos. Take care.

It really is terrible. I love those islands and the people.

I wish there was more just-sailing footage (not motoring or motor-sailing). I know you guys said it was uncomfortable when you were heeled over 20+ degrees but it looked like heaven to me (having never been there/done that). It may be boring for you to film pure sailing but it's what we land-locked KZbin-addict wannabe-sailors need. I signed up for my first sailing class tonight because of you guys; thank you for the inspiration! I am looking forward to getting out on the water; maybe we'll meet some day. Cheers!

Awesome! Good luck with the sailing class. Would be great to see you out here one day. As far as the sailing/motor sailing/motoring, it's pretty representative of what actually happens with us. I'm with you in wishing there was more pure sailing to film too. Unfortunately, the wind blows right on the nose all too often. I will say that we do sail a higher percentage of the time than a lot of the others we meet. Thanks for watching!

really enjoy your work, honest and real! Please don't stop. Oh are you going to the Abaco's? Back side of Guana at the North end is very nice

Thank you so much! We didn't end up going to the Abacos, although we are wanting to. Hoping to hit them in the future and will check out that spot.

Well done as always. Glad to see your CPT autopilot treated you well. We are provisioning and headed that way next week and hope the CPT treats us as well!

Years ago(early 70's) there was a 57'rolled over Chris Craft in the entrance to West End GBI.. Bummer place to be in a Norther. Lucaya's a much better choice even if it is a bit further if the wind is not in your favor or at night.

We really liked Lucaya and was a great place to head to the Berrys

Like your casual info. How’s the tartan 37 holding up. It looks a little small. Good sailing ? Boat? I’m thinking of restoring one . Nice videos n safe sailing .
@Funonholiday6 жыл бұрын
Holds up well, but it is an aging boat. Needs pretty constant maintenance. They all do. It is relatively small inside for a 37 due to having lots of storage and tankage. Sailing is a strong point. There is an owners forum at tartan37.com. Lots of info on things to look for and info on restoring. Thanks for watching!

I had lunch at that same place! Red Beards used to be the place to go when you wanted 3 tons of great food. Ate there before too. GREAT place as well. But I heard it's now closed. Was checking in at Port Lucyan easier than the others? Next fall I was going to goto Bimini Sands to check in, then head up to GBI for a couple weeks.
@Funonholiday6 жыл бұрын
Port Lucaya was definitely an easy check in. The only other place we checked in was Morgan's Bluff in Andros which was also easy. We've been to Bimini Sands but after we had already checked in. It's a great place. I'm sure it's an easy one. The office is right there at their docks. Not sure of their hours though.
