Your girls are so wonderful...so different yet the eyes are the common denominator, certainly your style. I've been looking for a way to spice up the background for my watercolor faces. Your video and flip-through was just the inspiration I needed. Thanks!!!❤ Fo

Thank you for making and sharing this video!!! Honestly, I just ‘happened’ upon it and you have made my day begin with incentive for, yet another, plan! I have several handmade ‘creative’ journals I have done in past years. My best days are looking though those journals and feel so good just seeing that I ‘reached out’ for myself to create them. In recent times, my “crafting” has had to change and I have several store bought sketch pads. But, my past experience was mostly with recycling papers with a dab of artful ideas I did myself! Now, I own a gazillion color pencils, watercolors and sketching tools to play with. Seeing your journals this morning woke up my past creative explorations to think about what I am doing creatively now and taking it to the idea of journaling as I did before. Again, THANK YOU for the renewed inspiration.

Great journals and I so agree about the 10 min/ time limited journaling …… the criticism about someone’s style reflects society at the mo ….and hell every thing else you were talking about🤣🤣🤪

I think we need to change society. And that means change ourselves. Isn't that, really, what social media should be for? Let's bring that change. ❤

I have two rules, learned the hard way. Never close the journal if your page could be wet and make sure your page is dry before using pens over it. I have a few pages stuck together and ruined so many nice pens being impatient. I just love your journals l especially the scrappy journals. Thank you for your video and wisdom.

When I am saying rules I am talking more about what supplies you can use, how you visually represent things or how you choose to express yourself. The rules you mention are more like common sense decisions about materials. And I agree and make those same decisions in my personal practice too.

@@gulfsprite yes of course. But, apparently when I first started I had no common sense.lol. So many pens.
