Gullies Part 2

Many thanks for the video, just picked one of these up and noticed that the trap cannot pass through the gully riser due to the two tabs on either side (of the trap). The tabs seem essential to stopping the trap dropping right to the bottom of the gully - but leaving them on prevents it from being removed (through a riser). So if you fit one of these using the riser, you sacrifice the ability to properly clean out the gully, or rod the pipes either side of it........or am i doing something wrong?
