Siri as my Voicemail greeting

Using the Samantha text to speech voice in OS X, combined with the prompt sounds I made a Siri voicemail greeting for myself.

I connected my iPhone to my Mac with a mini cable and then recorded the sounds on the Mac as I activated Siri on my phone.

you do know mac has the siri voice and you can just use that plus not only that you can use a usb audio cord on the iPhone to record the audio i like this one i think i will use it

I used the "Samantha" voice on OS X and had it read out the text in text edit. Then I held my phone up to the speakers to record it as the greeting.

Im not sure, if you could find the same voice on Windows or on a web generator you probably could.

The very low tech way, holding your phone up to the computer speaker. I suppose you could get mic cable and connect it to the sound out of your computer, but honestly over a phone voice connection you probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

It was a hack I did where I had my Mac read the text using the Siri voice and I help the phone up to my computers speakers as it played it. Very low tech.
