Gulshan Devaiah : ‘I saw Ranveer Singh CRYING in the corner on Sanjay Leela Bhansali ‘s set !’

Critically acclaimed actor Gulshan Devaiah spoke to me exclusively about his entire journey, beginning from being in fashion industry to now an actor.
He started at the age of 30 when he did his first film with Anurag Kashyap. He spoke about how he has never hustled in his life and have given only 50-60 auditions in his 15 year long career.
He spoke about how Anurag's ex-wife Kalki Koechlin was his friend and why people linked the 2 of them, despite she being married to Anurag. He also narrated his love story with his ex-wife and now how post divorce, they have again started dating.
He recalls working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Ram Leela and calls the experience a huge test of patience. He also calls Ranveer Singh super energetic and how his energy can rub off people in wrong ways. He also negates Prashant Narayanan's comment on Ranveer Singh calling his method acting fake. He also reminisces how Ranveer would cry on the sets after scenes.

I don't agree with both Siddharth and Gulshan's analysis of Sharmin's performance in Heeramandi. they were saying that Sharmin was getting trolled for her lame performance in Heeramandi because of her familial ties with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. that is not correct. Sharmin's dialogue delivery was ok in Heeramandi. However, the problem was with her expression. she only had one blank expression on her face throughout the series even in scenes which required heavy emotions. she was very raw compared to the other actors with whom she was sharing the screen space which made her stick out like a sore thumb. SLB could have cast Sharmin in a small role in which all the attention wouldn't be on her as she is still raw and inexperienced in acting but he chose to cast her in a lead role and that is only because of his favoritism as she is his niece.
