It was actually great character development on Anais’ part. She started off being mainly bratty and annoyed at her brothers antics, not to mention trying to kill them when she was 0 years old lmao. But as the show went on, she started to relax and have more fun hanging out with her brothers, getting involved in their chaotic antics.

Ikr I hoped the show mainly focused more on the three's sibling relationship rather than only Gumball and Darwin. There are some episodes where Anais is totally shunned out, and whenever she was relevant in any episode, she's either the protagonist of that episode who doesn't interact much with her brothers, or she, along with her parents, is just there as a temporary major character of that episode. There's very few episodes where only the 3 siblings actually spend time solving problems together, and I think that's why some of my fav episodes is where Anais, along with Gumball and Darwin, is working together to overcome their forces against them.

I'm a second child in the brood of three and my sisters and I always make fun with each other when we were kids, just like how Gumball, Darwin, and Anais showed up on how their chemistry as siblings had managed. TAWOG is just... amazing. Watching cartoons was our bonding time, and we made the best memories as siblings.
