Fun Fact: 8:32 was meant to be a reference to the song "Smack My Bitch Up" by The Prodigy. (The Prodigy is an absolute icon in British 90s dance music btw) not only does the background music sound similar to the song, but also because the (banned) music video for the song had a very similar concept, showing the POV of someone doing unspeakable things one night and then waking up the next morning all hung over, and at the very end of the music video, the person we get the POV from looks in the mirror and it's just a skinny white woman. My mum told me about seeing the music video back in '97 (I think) when they first dropped "The Fat Of The Land" (The album the song is from) and when she saw the ending of the music video, she was absolutely laughing her arse off while thinking "Prodigy, you bastards." 😂😂😂

whenever i remember that tawog wasnt suppose to be a cartoon network show at first and was actually suppose to be on adult swim i look back at episodes like "the ghost" and it seems a lot more disturbing honestly, its a whole episode about someone taking advantage of you without consent although i may be looking to deep into it haha, but many cartoon network shows do have those underlying themes

i totally see it. just watching it back, some of the dialogue even makes me uneasy, especially how gumball and carrie's exchanges go. gumball trying to negotiate at first, trying to get out of it, then outright saying no, and carrie ignoring him every time. it's disturbing when you see it thru that light but for me, once it was brought up i couldn't see it as anything but

i love this show and watched it since it released to when it ended. Another show i HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended if y’all haven’t watched already is Regular Show. Such a great show with more adult humor but it has a story and it’s amazing. Keep up the fun reactions guys!
