The first boss struggle for me would be the Helmasaur King in A Link to the Past. I played that game very young, and didn't quite get the well known Zelda concept that whatever item you get in a dungeon is almost always that dungeon's boss's weakness. So instead of using the hammer to break his mask and expose his weak point like a normal person, I sat there chucking bombs at him like a maniac. It does technically work, but it makes the boss like 10 times harder than he needs to be, so I died over and over. I didn't end up beating that game until years later when I was old enough to understand the mechanics better.

First game I ever (remember) playing (my dad was a game dev so I was raised on them by birth lol) was at age 3, I was playing Chibi Robo on the gamecube and Majoras Mask I dont think I even SAW a boss battle for a good while in my life, idk what the first boss I struggled on would be. But I know the first game I ever BEAT for SURE was Legend of Zelda: Four Swords. I was so happy. Second game I (remember) beating was Littlebigplanet, then Metal Gear Solid 4 (two of my alltime favorite games on earth).

My first boss I struggled with was Eve’s third phase from No Straight Roads(awesome game btw please check it out) I kept switching between May and Zuke when one of them was low on health. I finally managed to beat her while at someone’s birthday sitting in the corner. Granted I was playing the Nintendo switch version of the game and it’s buggy enough to where it’s a bit annoying. Still love the game, would play the pc version though
