Gumi and Luka - LION (Macross Frontier)

actually, i always tought that vocaloid has it's own Macross-style love triangle,
so i decided to make this one :D
巡音ルカ　VS GUMI　MEGPOID
luka - sheryl
gumi - ranka (and they have the same voice actress!)
gakupo - alto

omg i knew Luka,Gakupo and Gumi made the perfect Macross Cast!!! ever since gumi came iut n i found out she was voiced by Megumi Nakajima the same as ranka i thought Luka looked like Sheryl and Gakupo like Alto

@Wishingboat3 No. Gakupo was voiced by Gackt, and I'm pretty sure Gackt had a say in the design of "his" Vocaloid. Gakupo was not based on Alto at all. Gumi's image was probably just designed that way because Ranka Lee is Nakajima Megumi's most popular role, plus the fact that Ranka is a vocalist, so it fits. I can't say anything about Luka and Sheryl, though, as I don't know.

I agree with the above comments. I can definitely see some sort of a Macross Frontier love triangle resemblance in the constant question of whether Luka or Gumi is the better choice for Gakupo. That and Megumi Nakajima, Ranka's voice actress, provided the voice bank for Gumi, so it makes sense. ;p

Awesome vid idea. I do understand the associations makes, but as a song duet, it sounded a bit strange. I think it might have been a mixing error, maybe an issue with volume (information from my ears, I have not used any Vocaloid programming). However, as a Vocaloid cover song, the Luka and Rin version was better. Sorry. ^-^;;
