These two were responsible for shaping a generation almost with the songs they wrote. Those Disney blocks on after school television were a go to growing up, without thinking i could still remember all the words. From Cubbi to Kit Cloudkicker, Chip and Dale to Huey, Dewey and Louie, Thank you so much for the great memories. Great video!

Michael and Patty: this was honestly one of my favorite cartoons growing up! It was the theme song that got me hooked into it. So catchy and so fun and innocent. Brings back great memories of Saturday mornings eating cereal and chilling with my brother. Thank you for being part of my childhood. ❤

OMG I’ve watched all of these covers at some point - whenever I’m feeling like a dose of childhood nostalgia is needed I listen to the original then invariably end up going down the cover version rabbit hole. I have to say though, it really surprises me that the composers say they never imagined the song in a metal style. The orchestral backing of the original recording aside, to me the main vocal melody and the voice of the singer they chose to use just screams really fun, catchy, 80s cheesy rock to me. I’m always reminded of movies and tv shows with iconic soundtracks full of rock power ballads - things like the animated Transformers movie soundtrack, the Top Gun soundtrack, etc whenever I hear the Gummi Bears theme. As perfect as the original recording was, to me it was always begging to be adapted into some sort of rock or metal version.

Haha very entertaining! I wonder what it feels like seeing several people do covers to a song you wrote. Must have been a new experience for them too, being that they've never done anything KZbin-related! Also, people are very creative with it haha. You guys should have shown a "surprise cover" as the last video with you two singing it in your own style to see their reaction xD You would have killed it! hahahha.

THAT WAS FRIGGIN' AWESOME! I can't wait to see the next one. At the end of the one video, where they mentioned there was no credit given to the song writer's. I'm willing to bet most people don't stop to consider that theme songs and songs in commercials come from someone's imagination and talent, even if it's a 30 second spot, or a 2 minute into to introduce the characters of a show. As a kid, you don't watch the credits at the end of the cartoon (although I was the nerd that did). This was really, really cool guys. that is all. 🙃

Who sang the lead in the original??? I've been wanting to know for years. Doesn't sound like Joey Scarbury. Was it him? Same goes for Duck Tales, Rescue Rangers, and Darkwing Duck. They all sound like they were sang by the same guy even if different composers.
