GUMMILICIOUS! Unboxing Sophie & Toffee June Elves Box 2020

🎨I've been so excited for this box ever since they showcased the adorable sleeping animal silicone molds!!
🍬And on top of that, it included super sweet (no pun intended) candy molds too!!
So of course I'll be using every single mold with the prettiest pastel colors, to make them extra sweet.
In this video, I unbox the June Gummilicious Premium Elves Box from Sophie & Toffee blind and describe the various items for you.
This box is the Gummilicious Themed box with a candy heart mold (Valentine's Conversational Hearts), a cute spiral marshmallow mold, and a jelly bean mold.
The Premium box includes 4 silicone molds of Sleeping Animals (a bunny, hamster, panda, and seal)!
I used the included Squishy Gel 1:1 resin for these animal molds and they came out SO CUTE!!!
I also used Soft Type UV Resin for the first time, too!! I used it for the hearts, jelly bean, and marshmallow! I was so surprised by its properties! It's sort of like an eraser!
I ran out of Squishy Gel so I'll be making these Sleep Animal molds with epoxy resin for now. Do you have any ideas on how they should look? Sparkle? Opaque? Clear? Pastel? Gothic? I like your color choices for the sleeping animals. It is interesting that you opted not to make the panda. I guess it doesn't lend itself to color variations.

Thank you!! I love pastel animals! It reminds me of the Care Bears haha I did try making the panda with light blue, but the silver stars sank too far into the mold and caused the bear to rip apart :(

If you contact Sophie and toffee they'll send you the other half for your jelly bean mold with no issues 😁 also try a hair straightener for making the candy bags just wrap the sides with wax paper also called parchment or baking paper so you don't ruin your hair straightener 😊 Love the seal, bunnie & Jack beans stalk lol

You're the first I've seen where you got a different washy tape box, myself and the others I've seen got the piggy one (Lilac box with a dusky-reddish lid, sadly the tape was the lid colour and not the lilac I'd hoped for). The magic beans made me laugh given the mystery seeds that have been in the news lately. I would still let S&T know about the error; it reminded me that I hadn't checked my bean mold yet though. The candy hearts would make great bag charms/key chains or earrings. As for the sealer, I've not used mine yet as i don't have batteries, but have seen it used where it's just pressed down rather than slid across and seems to work ok. I cast the Seal with a transparent blue coloured 2-part epoxy. I unmolded him a little short of 24 hours, so he wasn't sticky but he was still kinda softish/bendy, just enough that I could gently form a slight bend to his rear body & tail end. Then I let him dry fully for a few days to set that position, then used uv resin and a pointy tool on a silicone mat to create a fishy type tail on him because he just looked more like a Dolphin than a Seal to me. He's not perfect, but so cute. I've not tried the squishy resin yet so this was a great warning about what can happen when including glittery bits etc. I think the soft uv resin could be good for bookmarks or something (Sandrartes made a cute little mini bag).

oh my gosh, the mystery seeds! LMAO I saw those a little after I made these and started cracking up!! Maybe I foresaw the future. lol I love your idea to gently mold the animals while they're still a little soft! I bet if you played around with that technique a little bit you could make something really cool with any of those animals! Sandrartes is a genius with resin and somehow managed to make her animals into hollow shakers! So that's my next attempt. haha
