Cory's collaborations with Dirty Loops have really been Grace Kelly + Kenni Holman + Michael Nelson + the Hornheads burning it up in collaborati9n with Dirty Loops, with some understated guitar from Cory Wong. And that's OK.

Eddie the sax player.... humble musician at the very end. He killed that sax solo and is still questioning his performance at the end. "If you say so"... after hearing the approval of the monster musicians around him. As an artist myself, I would say that is the sign of a true artist... always knowing you can be better and still wanting to hear affirmations even after everyone thinks you are killing it. Really enjoying Cory Wong's collaborations with great musicians!
@moistpeanut5986
@moistpeanut5986 2 жыл бұрын
To be fair to Eddie. You can still enjoy a moment like that and not have to be hype at the end of a tune. Like for example I enjoy sports too, but im not the kind of person that yells at a tv or jumps out of my chair. Specially when we play with killing musicians. There is a lot of pressure whether you show it or not. I imagine he was just as hyped but maybe didnt express it the same way as the other dudes.

I thought his sound was striking and nostalgic, but still one of those tones that sticks with ya... and that with his appearance... familiar like in a WKRP in Cincinnati vibe... that and with his duster stash... You know that guy... the original teacher on head of the class.?. I'm just going to pretend to be Sonny in a mirror. So cool to see a goofy foot playing like some kind of Hendrix bassist. He is the ShEET!

Top five saxophone solos of all time, amazing. Also amazing how the groove is so loose that you can almost hear the furniture falling apart, and at the same time as tight as a baby's... freshly tuned marching snare drum. And I'm reminded of a big band player talking about how they would compete in being the last on the note in the heavily syncopated stuff. (And a quote from an old class mate: "The syncopation is so deep and heavy that even those who are already lying down will fall over.")

After listening to Cory's music for several hours I became a fan, a Subscriber and devotee. Their (CW & DL) composition and arrangement of "Ring Of Saturn" is a Percussionists dream song. I absolutely love everything about this song. So beautiful. After hearing it only once and first time I immediately decided to put it on my go-to, and play-a-long lists and archived into my Music Library as one of my favorite instrumentals of all time. It's a pity it's only 04:03 long, so I just loop it and play over it . . . and play over it . . . and play over it . . . Le😎 Ameruba 🇵🇭 🇺🇸 🇨🇺 Percussion / Drums
