There you go again spouting facts! :) What I find funny is the fact that the anti-gun crowd constantly comes up with new groups or changes the names of old groups while bashing the NRA, a group that has been around for over 100 years. Interesting. I see this as a means to try to keep themselves relevant despite providing false and misleading information. Of course their main audience doesn't bother to do the research though and just eats up everything being said. -Jen

Good point. Every decade or so the public figures out their BS, so they need to rebrand. Now they are all "gun safety" groups, despite not knowing the first thing about guns.

Excellent video post. The only way to fight ignorance is to keep getting the truth out there; thanks for the great posts on this topic. Anti-guns zealots have an less difficult mission - it's easier to simply make guns look evil than it is to think critically and use reasoning to arrive at the same conclusion as the authors of the 2nd Amendment and those who understand and agree with the Heller decision. It's not unlike the same idiots arguing this week to get rid of the Electoral College.

I am all for civilians owning any kind of gun within reason, but the regulation in America is a joke. The tracking and sales of firearms is almost completely unregulated. Training is also a joke. I think guns should stay far away from schools, having security guards at most. Getting licences are far too easy, and the main problem with concealed carry is that when the police turn up they don't know what to do if they don't know which guy with a gun is the bad guy. I think that people with concealed carry licences should be put through extensive extremely rigorous training to know that to do when they start getting in the way. Because the police and everybody else just see a man with a gun at the time of a shooting.

i know its a drag covering the same ground over and over, but you have to remember the level of retardation were dealing with. keep fighting the good fight. your research is useful for those of us unable to to such ourselves and your level headed approach is refreshing in an arena that can sometimes generate a lot of passionate discourse.
