If I wanted it I would have offered 500 assuming the bore was decent. It's pre safety but still a lot of the finish worn off of it and an uncommon caliber.

I gad an Ithaca lever action 20 ga single shot back in the late 6-s pr 70s. I fired it 5 times at rabbits and missed so Isold it. I bought a 12 ha Savage M30 pump. Never missed...kept it until I had to sell it for rent money.

That Remington Speedmaster 22 rifle you looked at for $250, I would have scooped that up immediately. I bought a used one about 10 years ago for $165, but with todays prices, that's pretty good. The Marlin 336 in 35 Remington was a little to high priced though.
