My Federal Background check came back in 4 seconds approved. Why would they need 7 days to get a back ground check? Law makers are so clueless and make laws with zero knowledge about what they are making laws on. I highly doubt anyone is going to review a background check in those 7 days.

Good grief, I'm a gun owner, support the 2nd amendment and don't have a problem with a waiting period, I would say the people that have issues with it are probably people who are up to no good. It's pretty simple, if I buy it today, the first day doesn't start until the next day at midnight, if you know how to count, you should have no issues but counting apparently is not some people's strong suit...

When someone's loved one is shot, they want to know why cops can't find the owner of the gun. This is how we start making that possible. And if you can't wait a week for your gun, you should have planned ahead. Lastly, the suicide argument is stupid af.

Because criminals buy their guns from an FFL, and get background checks? Knowing the owner of a gun, does not mean that the owner is the person who committed the crime. History has proven that registration always leads to confiscation.
