My dad was born and brought up in kodaikanal, he has been there immediately after Guna movies release , he was 18 yrs old then . With his friends he has explored inside so many times and has seen this particular hole or cave, which was barred with iron grills ,but they have gone a lot inside the caves and after his marriage , when he moved out of kodai, he got to know it was closed then and it is not possible to go again . He felt happy that he had seen the place where Kamal sir hid the actress, and a large part of the caves, he and his friends, had dropped a stone and it went on falling and they were surprised because it fell for almost 3 minutes inside one particular cave which was grilled. And that too it turned at many points . Similarly they had tried in this one and they couldnt hear the end sound of the stone falling at all. Thats when they realized how deep it was . He has many a times heard the news of ppl falling inside the caves and he had known abt the manjummel boys as well long back in 2006 when the real incident had happened, his friend was a part of the rescue and he explained to us how it was that evening, and the actual person who was rescued was far more critical than shown in the movie , he had broken one of his hands also.. So this was truly a gud experience , Guna Cave visit is a must when I will go to my Native Kodaikanal henceforth.. Edit: The actual incident occured in 2006 is clearly depicted in this movie..Hats off to the entire crew🙌🎊🎊🌟

​@@indepth1362another big mistake you did is what I did in 11 th standard. You simply multipled 9.8*180. But you forgot that's acceleration not velocity. So the answer you got is final velocity (no air resistance) which is 1.7 km/s. To find distance use that normal formula 1/2*a*t2 which will give around 158 km!!!! . Well as we know that's not possible for a mountain but yeah

I visited Guna cave on same day when Subhash fell down, but I already left the place when the incident occurred. Later we came back to the place to witness the historic rescue. We(including hundreds of people) unimagined he will comeback alive. Kudos to the God!

I went inside Guna caves with a local guide in 1998. I was 13 years old. He was a very experienced guide and he knew the cave very well. I saw the hole they called devils hole inside the cave. That’s the hole where so many people died. It was a scary cave and very dark inside - you cannot see that hole unless you have some light. The Only person to come out alive was this guy from Manjummel boys. (Which happened later in 2006, and I learned about this story only 2 weeks ago because of the movie)
