I have to say, hats off to Gunboat management. Designing a new boat, building it on schedule, delivering it at the planned weight, marketing it, and managing the brand on the internet is INCREDIBLY complex. And you haven't put a foot wrong. It's all been perfect. I'm with the comment below: This is the best sailboat ever made by man. I have a deep sense of pity for all the Phoenicians who never got to see it, as they'd both learn how to sail it in about ten minutes, and think it was created by the gods.

I love just about everything about this boat. The Walmart bargain aisle salon interior not so much, but the helm, cabins, look and performance are fantastic! If I were in the market, I'd have to have a serious talk with the builder about moving that rear salon bulkhead aft about 4 feet and completely redoing the salon interior. Would be a joy to customize and then cruise this monster all over the globe. This gunboat is about as close to perfection as it gets. Beautiful job!!

Fabulous high performance sailing yacht. Unreachable by the vast majority of sailors, but fabulous design. Clean lines, functional, modern interior, interior and exterior spaces flowing together. If the mechanical spaces are as well considered, it would be an awesome home.

I was told the exact same about BEV's a decade ago. Of course then there were only a few examples. Now, hey are multiplying faster than rabbits in the spring. And, this might come as a shock to you, but Gunboat already has built one. Moonwave is a Gunboat 60 Hybrid that was built in 2012 and just thought a refit. There are other examples where they have dumped the genset altogether.

The same claim can be made for ICE vehicles today. There are many more choices for gas and diesel compared to electric. If you want to see what is coming, you look to the fringe. Right now the upfront cost is higher. If you have the cash for a Gunboat or equivalent. You won't need to put up with a stinkpot.

Love the helm position, and just about everything else...except the salon furniture looked like something out of my 7th grade lunchroom. I know they're going for "minimalist," but for the money I'd like to see something a bit more pleasing to the eye. The rest of the thing is absolutely beautiful. Almost buried the bow completely a couple of times during those speed runs, though. Would make me nervous about flipping the thing.

I really like this Cat. Two questions however. The forward helm station: What happens when you have wind, rain and spray coming over the bough and you have to go out to operate the sheets etc. Does the cabin area get soaked? When mooring or docking: The helmsman must have a problem judging where the side of the boat is manouvering from inside. Does it have stern remote control stations? Thanks

I'll take 14...... Very nice, very fast catamaran, also very expensive!! They are pretty much the catamaran benchmark and as such will price accordingly. I'm happy with a 40 year old mid 30's centre cockpit monohull at a percentage of the price, beautiful boats though

Great video and beautiful looking boat but for 68' (and about 7-9million) that looks like a pretty small interior to me - so why not extend the roof by 2 feet and cover most of the rear cockpit to give a greater impression of space? The cabins look smaller than on the 66's too. I know, being picky - but for that money 'd probably want a bit more than an uber fast racing snake.
