Spike, if the steering station is inside the cabin behind the windshield....it seems she is a wet ride at speed. How to keep all the sea spray from entering the cabin if you are keeping the door open for wench controls and adjusting steering auto pilot? Or is the autopilot verbotten (forbidden) on high speed runs like this? Can a husband wife deal with such a big kitty?

Gunboat provides beautiful film of the boat ripping and spume gloriously flying. And the comments complain it’s a wet boat. OMG it’s like complaining your Ferrari is too load at 9k rpm.

@@pred7949 If you don't like all the flying spray, you can always reef. If that beautiful cat was bobbing along at 6 knots instead of smoking along at 20 I doubt the spray would be flying the length of the boat. That said, I think it's glorious. In a "dry" boat you can only go slow or slower. This beautiful cat is like having a fast car, you don't have to keep your foot to the floor all the time.

The Gunboat 68 is built of foam core and has an inner liner with an air gap in-between, so the hulls are essentially double-glazed, keeping the inside extremely quiet! Thanks for the comment, now you can have your fast carbon cat without the noise!

It has wave-peircing bows. They're designed to drive the boat efficiently through the waves rather than scrubbing off all its speed with violent pitching motions. All displacement sailboats that can do these speeds are wet
