You don't get a lot of perfection in this world, so when you do it's a warm fuzzy feeling. This thing really is the most perfect sailboat ever made. I keep having this fantasy about making a really cool short film. It would feature a crew of Phoenician sailors coming across a GB 68 empty and anchored, swarming aboard, and figuring out how to sail it. They would figure it out very quickly, and be delighted in doing so. There's something about the next level ergonomics of the GunBoat, centered around that center cockpit I think, that makes me identify with those Phoenician guys. How much sheer joy would it be to learn how to sail one of these things and live on it...

Thanks very much for the overview. Wow, that's a lot of Carbon fiber. More impressive, however, are the quality procedures to try to ensure a good result. It's good to have great design and materials, but it's equally important to have processes that create great execution. It's interesting that larger pieces are vacuum assist molded in house, but some of the simpler sections are contracted out and built from pre-impregnated Carbon fiber composites. It's a good combination of specialties. Like Loick, I'm amazed that painting takes 3 months, but it certainly shows in the results.

Spectacular boat and great factory tour. Too bad I cannot afford one. If I had the funds that would be the one I would take around the world.
