The boat is very beautiful indeed. Not so sure about the open saloon in a 55' though, it points it to be a daily sailor o at most weekend sailor, rather than a full offshore machine, even given its length

How does that open air cockpit work when you want to leave the boat to explore inland areas. It doesn't seem very secure. Am I wrong?

It all closes up with a forward stormproof door ..and at the rear they can use a combination of sliding toughened glass doors or folding and lift up into the hard roof.

You are perfectly protected in that cockpit. More protection than a performance mono provides. You don’t need 2 tons of superstructure to protect you from a little sea water
