We will never see anime with this level of detail ever again
@PointReflex6 жыл бұрын
Well for starters this kind of hyper detailed and fluent animation was expensive as fuck back in the day, the bust in the Japanese economy helped a lot during the early 80's to the late 90's but once the advanced computarization got cheaper and made things more easily with less time consumption (for example the animation and CGI effects of Ghost in the Shell 1995) the old hand drawn 24 frames/second method of the past came so fucking expensive that many studios didn't had the money or the publishers to use it. Of course the animation quality shown in this video beats the living shit out of almost EVERYTHING aviable today even with the best CGI effects (for example Stay Night openings) because it looks like a cartoon drawn by hand, it moves fast and fluently and has so many fucking details per frame that you can't count them, even if it looks less realistic you instantly feel surprised by the handy work behind every scene, every character, every color, even every sound effect (I would argue that the explosions effects from the 80's rocks the living shit out of our actual Dolby Surround 7000.0 Master Race Plus hardware). Long story short: The kind of animation presented in GUNBUSTER is ART in its maximum expression.

Or pasión , now is rare to find good shows since everything feel generic and that has no love or soul
@lordartoriuscollbrande74344 жыл бұрын
I think that’s pretty pathetic if you ask me. If this truly has more detail than what most anime have, then anime is a disgrace to being a fictional medium. That’s sad.

What about Gurren Lagann?
@belldrop73653 жыл бұрын
@@stephenbyrne2170 Gurren lagann is more into fluid animation which makes it look deformed if you pause during animations. It's not exactly on top of details, but the animation is one of the best. ironically, if we're talking about detailed animation, 3D would be the way to go since they'll only need to make one really detailed model to keep reusing. But that comes at the sacrifice of losing fluid animation, like gurren lagann's, since the models are fixed solid objects that don't deform. Which is why 3d animation is as awkward as seeing a metal tire.
