合計種族値680のキュウリ 小説版でモレノフさんが擬似太陽炉の毒性について把握はしていたので 戻せる可能性はあったかもしれませんが 国連軍に囲まれて尚且つ元々 他のパイロットがマイスター3人とラッセしかいなく ジンクスを投入されたことで 性能差のアドバンテージを失ってたので 治せたかもしれませんが状況的に不可能だったでしょうね

Lyle had felt inferior thinking he's the worse Lockon. Him being able to open his right eye when it mattered symbolizes he has surpassed his brother and did what Neil couldn't. That, or Neil blessed him in the last second and helped him through. Either way, this scene completes the development of Lockon Stratos and I think it's really good.

Way I see it, Lyle was a better fighter than his brother. Neil is the better sniper, no doubt about that. But when the fighting gets to the range that sniping is ineffective, Lyle can hold his own without having to rely on the other meisters for support. It could be the Cherudim being designed more towards his combat style than the Dynames but he is able to make full use of the suit, probably more than his brother could when he used the Dynames.

Funny enough the eye cover is not as debilitating on Lyle compared to Neil... because Lyle isn't a sniper. He's not dependent on that eye and is better suited for mixed combat (despite the Cherudim being designed almost exclusively for ranged combat).

What sells it is the direction of Revive's reaction. First shot has him both surprised and kind of scared. They keep the same shot of his eye, now showing he knows he'll be dead in seconds and is visibly scared that there's now nothing he can do about it. At this moment Lyle already surpassing his brother in his own way . Neil was indeed a perfect character from the start but Lyle keep proving over and over again he have his own worth. Just because he doesn't have the same accuracy as his brother earlier in the series doesn't mean he doesn't had it now. He still alive so he can continue to improve , besides his battle are more interesting to be seen. He always used every part of his gundam to destroy the enemies . Neil was good for sure but not in short range battles , he always on the disadvantage if the enemy become way to close to him. But both brother just as good as they are , people should stop being toxic and refuse to admit the fact that Lyle are getting better everytime he goes battling out his enemies.

Neil was a pretty big threat in close combat. He was beating the Throne in close combat with one eye. It wasn't until the one guy in a GN-X got involved that he lost.

@@Prime92 I admit his fight with Ali is the only time that show his capability with short range battles but most of time he play it safe and almost/always losing his battle whenever the enemies got too close , move faster or move to his blindspots. That's one of his biggest flaws in the entire series. Different from Lyle he always face his enemies head on and never depend on his eyesight to fight them all. We can see him in action more than Neil ever was .

Yet you don't their eyes or front face with any bleeding, and bruises are possible only due to direct contact with something external, if there was glass, it would be floating within their helmet and making it immediately unreliable and not for operations if the very helmet that's supposed to cushion you makes you blind by shattered glass/plastic getting in the eyes, face, nose and any delicate vital exposed bits of a face. The bleeding on them usually comes dragging down from their heads through their hair on Gundam series and mechas overall, few make sense such getting shaken around by impact and have the helmet displace itself a little, making it possible to momentarily get a flatten nose like getting hit by wall by your helmet hiven if the helmet was properly secured/strapped to the head... But again, specifically on Gundam, their blood tends to come through their upper head then leak down their hair to their face, implying that thr cushion isn't cushion and impossible that the "hit was too strong" to make it a viable reason of, bleeding like is usually possible only with something sharp or the complete lack of cushion of protective headwear. Either these guys have so much balls they rather not have any cushion on their helmets to feel free in their headsey a lottle more while risking concussions and cuts by severe impact, or they got razors inside their helmets. Have in mind that they are in space usually, a broken front visor means immediate shatter by the pressure of the vacuum of space to instant death. Usually helmets for astronauts have few layers or materials that can withstand several dents but the shattering bit never go as far as to within the helmet, because that it's obvious imminent death by breaking apart. Lockon when outside his pilot cockpit and was freely moving in spave with a helmet that had external damage by dents, it would have been impossible for any glass to cut or damage the head within, otherwise if it was damaged enough to have any scattered shatter inside.... cycling back to immediate death by the entire visor getting sucked out by space itself. Attention to detail matters
