This is what I've wanted for a long time. I'm more of a Super Robot kind of guy, loving the over the top and somewhat silly mannerisms like you'll find in G Gundam. Other gundam franchises, like Unicorn or Iron Blooded Orphans, are a little too overly serious and use the robots more as a backdrop for the political and moral intrigue. Not that there's anything wrong with any of that, it's certainly what got Gundam started, but it's giant robots shooting lasers at each other. It doesn't have to be that complicated to be awesome!

What about Gundam X? With the beam rifle which takes about 4.03 seconds microwave from the moon? That is a beam rifle on overdrive. It scorched the radius of approximately 100 to 200 km in it's path.

​@@gr8haxThe GX's Satellite Cannon is not technically a beam weapon. It's not really an equivalent comparison since it's in a completely different league of its own. Functionally it's a Colony Laser class weapon.

I love all the clear but not direct copy references of gundam age , age 1 is rx78 , age 2 is zeta , age 3 is zz , the fortress pack is a nod to seravee , it's all so good :D
