Game feels a lot closer to Shadowverse Evolve than anything current Bandai in terms of turns and sequencing. If this holds up for set 1 design I think its a really good sign for Gundam

I really love playing SVE, the only thing holding it back is exposure as not many in my area play. If gundam is close to mirroring SVE, then I would gladly play that.

@ no you don’t spend mana you just ditch cards that have a printed counter value. So there is no telegraph as to what they may have. They either have cards with no counter, 1k or 2k so it feels very random.

I believe you can also decide to replace a base early. E.g. you don't have to wait until your start base is defeated before placing a new one from your hand.

I felt like the amount of cards in hand decreases quite a bit as the game goes along, but maybe that was just my experience. However, command cards for card draw seem important.

@@antonj.2408 my really only critique with the current card pool is the lack of card draw/consistency pieces ( at least compared to other Bandai card games ). However, that can definitely change when we see more cards.

After watching your match and reading over the revealed cards, green seems the strongest BY FAR out of what we've got to work with. I know we only have 2 red cards revealed, but they do seem to have potential to be really strong. Thoughts on color tierlist so far? I'm thinking Green> White> Red> Blue

I'll likely wait for a tier list until we the complete set revealed. But Green is super good with the few cards we've seen so far.

Got a question: When a gundam fights a shield, and checks for another gundam in security, does it fight it? I think it does since WIng gundam has the "5 damage" effect like magic's trample. Or the "5" is just there for any situational base?

It doesn’t check another Gundam in shield/life/security, it’s more so to remove a base in the shield area.

I think Bandai should fix the game they already have with the color balance issues (black in one piece) vs making more games that almost operate the same as a game their already selling and having tournaments for

Bandai has different development teams for their different games. The team developing this game is not taking away from One Piece’s resources.

Resource decks are 10 Resouces so that’s definitely the max. The battle area may be limited to 5 cards though/that hasn’t been confirmed.

Battle area is limited to 6 units. EX resources are capped at 5 because there may be cards that give ex resources, however each turn you put down 1 regular resource (they are different). The only question what is the max including ex resources, 10 or 15 (10 resource deck + 5 max cap of ex resource). I am assuming 15.
