Hey man. Really admire your work and love your commentaries. And like your choice of music. Having said that, I’m a beginner but I’ve made a couple of MG and a PG. I’ve not painted any. While I would love to, I don’t think I would invest in a spray kit. I’ve got myself a PG Exia and I’d really like to have it painted. Would using spray cans be good enough or would the outcome look horrible? I’m aware that having it airbrushed is way superior. Thanks in advance! And keep up the good work!
@cassandrafoxx41714 жыл бұрын
It is possible to do as good a paint job as this using Tamiya spray cans, and some Mr Hobby ones as well. I have made some award-winning PG and MG models (The first being my PG GP-01fb) only using cans and brush paints, as I can't use an airbrush gun because I'm missing my right index finger.

Zephyranthes is my all-time favourite Gundam design and this PG really makes him shine. These kits are big and can be painted with cans with good results and mobility (providing that you carefully mask pegs and cavities). I'm trying to detail mine as much as I can. Unfortunately I broke the little peg that connects the tiny antenna to the top of the head. I've tried with glue, but it broke again, it's too tiny. Any advice? Excellent work with the LEDs and wonderful decals. Where did you bought them? I search periodically, but I can't find any 1/60 decals for my GP01 anywhere

What is it called when you darken the edges? I usually dislike it cause it's so obvious, however it does give every part a chance to shine. The way you've done it though is amazing cause it's barely noticeable yet gives a good effect. I'll def try it out on my next project, great work!!

May i ask what you mean by feature film? I thought 0083 was a 13 episode ova series only? This PG looks great. But I'm not a UC fan so I probably won't buy this. The only PGs that I own (not built yet): - GN-0000+GNR-010 00 Raiser - GN-001 Gundam Exia [Lighting Model] - GN-0000GNHW/7SG 00 Gundam Seven Sword/G ⭐Premium Bandai⭐ - GN-0000+GNR-010 Trans-Am Raiser - GN-001RE Gundam Exia Repair Parts Set But that's because (as you might have guessed) Mobile Suit Gundam 00 is my favorite, and PGs are expensive. So I only buy PGs from Mobile Suit Gundam 00 and intend to buy all of them as they're made. It's a good thing that PGs are not released often since it gives me more time to save up money to buy them. Anyway, I will say that I always appreciate your custom work you put into Gunpla kits. They always come out great! 54:18 I agree. Bandai needs to make a dedicated Action Base for PG kits. I know some PGs come with a display stand, but I'm looking for a dedicated one that you can just buy in stores/online. It's too bad for fans that Bandai never made a PG for: - RX-78GP02A Gundam "Physalis" - RX-78GP03S Gundam "Dendrobium Stamen" A PG RX-78GP03 Gundam "Dendrobium" would just be way too big so the _Stamen_ variant I think is more of a reasonable & likely release. Personally though, I hope we get more PG 00 kits including: GN-0000GNHW/7SGD2 00 Gundam Seven Sword/G Inspection GN-0000RE+GNR-010 00 Raiser GN Condenser Type GN-001 Gundam Exia (Roll Out) GN-001 Gundam Exia (Trans Am) GN-001/hs-A01D Gundam Avalanche Exia Dash GN-001REII Gundam Exia Repair II GN-001REIII Gundam Exia Repair III GN-001REIV Gundam Exia Repair IV GNT-0000 00 Qan[T] GNT-0000 00 Qan[T] (Trans Am) GNT-0000/FS 00 Qan[T] Full Saber I suspect most of those will be Premium Bandai kits/Premium Bandai add on sets. I don't mind if that's what happens as long as Bandai makes them.

@xxnike629xx "It's too bad for fans that Bandai never made a PG for: - RX-78GP02A Gundam "Physalis" - RX-78GP03S Gundam "Dendrobium Stamen" Nice try firing shots against the UC fandom, trying to get revenge for being flamed, eh? *:P* And it's too bad for you that most of your wishlist is still being ignored. "A PG RX-78GP03 Gundam "Dendrobium" would just be way too big so the Stamen variant I think is more of a reasonable & likely release." A PG GN Arms is big too. Sounds awesome, but you're surely just buy it for its box if it got announced. "Personally though, I hope we get more PG 00 -kits- *BOXES* including: [Cue wishlist] I suspect most of those will be Premium Bandai -kits- *BOXES* . @cassandrafoxx41714 жыл бұрын
I'd prefer a Dendrobium MG2.0 style kit. And you can source a non-original PG-scale stand in many colors from E-bay. They're roughly titled as 'G-Action Base XM-004', and while quite basic, they can hold up a 1/60 PG or large MG model without complications. The clear stand I have has held up my PG GP-01fb and PG 00-Raiser without problems.
