@@OtakuBuilder Yeah nah i don't think we will be graced with a PG of Barbatos any time soon, the only thing we have in 1/100 are the mechanical build; and the eye sections are not clear plastic. @OtakuBuilder5 жыл бұрын
Before applying the Tamiya panel lining solution you need to add at least two to three coats of Tamiya clear coat. Once it drys for a couple of hours you can apply the Tamiya panel lining. To clean it up all you really need is Zippo lighter fluid and that's it. Once you apply two layers of the clear coat you shouldn't have any paint peeling off. If you do it's going to be very light👍🏽🦊

Love your videos. Teach me a lot. I got a question tho. How do you do shading? Do you need another airbrush to do it? I got a really cheap 0.3 airbrush, will it do the job?
@OtakuBuilder5 жыл бұрын
Pre shadowing application is relatively simple. First you apply the primer of your choice. Then with a airbrush use choice a flat black and applied around the area that you want to create like a gradient effect. Once that sits and drives for about 30 minutes then you apply a flat white over the black surface very lightly. Once that drys applying your choice between a clear coat, semi clear coat or gloss coat over the surface. And that's pretty much it.
@jeffurakee67525 жыл бұрын
Otaku Builder the thing is in the video, you do spraying on the edges and it seems really thin. But my airbrush once it spray it spray out a lot and cover everything. I think I might need another airbrush that doesn’t cover that much you know

I've been wondering how you handle parts moving next to each other? My first paint job was the base of a PG banshee norn (gunmetal) and I used cans for that one, next up was a Unicorn Base (gunmetal and gold) and a RG Strike Freedom (airbrushed). However with the Unicorn base I noticed the "horn" would scratch rather easy, which wasn't the case with the banshee base. The same would happen with the RG strike Freedom, If I'm not using care it is rather easy to scratch certain parts. I've seen Jenic trim parts down a bit, but I can't remember seeing you do that, is this something you do offscreen? If so, how much do you take off, or is this the reason you use cans on innerframe parts? Also, love the lightning, it's fantastic to see it in effect.
@OtakuBuilder5 жыл бұрын
I primarily do all my heavy trimmings for the model kit parts off camera. As when it comes to Spring any plastic parts with heavy polymer spray oh, there's always going to be a chance of it scratching the paint. It's unavoidable. My biggest fear is when you use an actual spray can it overtime or roads the plastic.
