It is why I would rather watching Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions, Oshi No Ko, & The Dreaming Boy Is A Realist English dubs for the rest of my life, than I would watch Seed Freedom dub as they chew away my sanity & eventually, my will to live because Sunrise is pulling out an Ubisoft with The Crew when it comes to casting of the Seed Freedom dub

I managed to torturing myself by watching The Dreaming Boy is A Realist English dub the second I listened to new Le Creuset, just to tell you how awful the new dub is and Dreaming Boy dub is the worst thing I've ever had the misfortune of listening since Chuunibyou English dub

@@Chaosmage42 only the seed redub that was available online fsr, the seed destiny redub however was only on the remaster blurays, which in other words one had to sail thru the seven seas to experience the horrors

I miss the original dub, but it's so hard to find with this new remastered version being the most prominent now. I tried to watch it just to see if I could get used to it and I had to stop about 10 episodes in. Not sure what it is. Could be the voices or the script adaptation or a combination of both. Whatever it is, it just doesn't work.

I could understand them not wanting to bring back the Ocean cast as it may have cost them more money than they wanted to spend to re-dub the whole series but what REALLY sucks and that I can't understand is why not bring back Ocean cast for the film? unfortunately the Movie is going to have the sane cast as the HD remasters and for that reason I am only going to watch the movie in Japanese..

@@omegashenron8best guess, Canadian dub group instead of US. Yes ocean dub has done ALOT of dub work for the US, just look up Sam Vincent and Scott McNeil, but that was during a time where the US didn’t take dubbing seriously or wasn’t in it yet. Now that they are……well we get this. Personally I like cherami leigh and I think she could do good as cagalli, or shoot maybe flay instead, but the directing for it is not that great and the other cast set up I think hit even worst.

@@MusicFan752 ADV and Funimation were doing their own dubs back then so I don't think it's as much as the u.s taking it more seriously now or being more in it than it is cost cutting. Ocean group is unionized so they couldn't just pay them peanuts to dub shows. So it's cheaper for them now days to dub the shows in house or use a studio that isn't unionized. I agree that the dub wouldn't have been as bad with better direction but I still feel as if they just threw this cast together without much effort as Seed was never that popular stateside and the remastereds were originally meant to be only for Japan in the first place.

Uugh this dub sounds so bad. Not really anything against the VA's as some of them voiced for persona 5 and did great, and of course Johnny Yong Bosch and Stephanie Sheh are great VA's but they don't suit the characters.

It's a mixed bag. The voice-actors for Yzak, Dearka, & [of course] Creuset deliver well enough; the latter excellently in later episodes. Even the latter's insane monologue in Episode 45 is better than the original Ocean Dub's translation with Mark Oliver.
