"Shooting" yep. I've seen that Europeans follow deer tracks in the snow to make their hunt. I'd like to work up to that as a hunter but I'm not there yet. 😞

My college roommate introduced me to hunting cuz I found him grilling moose tenderloin steaks at 2:30am in the snow in February after a hard night of drinking hahah. I still hunt to this day but not as often as I’d like to. 😂😂

Jack, pretty sure you meant Jane Goodall, the primatologist/anthropologist, not Jayne Austen, the 17th Century novelist we call had to suffer through in English Lit.

Ummm... imho, the 8.6 was developed from passion and knowledge. It's the 6.8 that was developed by the DeepState suits. The 8.6 was designed to kill large game. The 6.8 was designed to kill the AR.

This is the quintessential episode for new viewers and listeners. From an experienced, but arms-distance look at recreational hunting… to dropping bombs on gorillas.

Hunting game from a tree stand at close range takes better hunters. You have to know the patterns of the game, be mindful of the wind and where your scent is going, have to be more careful with your movements and the noise you make, etc. Shooting animals at further distances just means you're proficient with a rifle and in good enough shape physically to do it. The other skills aren't really necessary for shooting at distance. Does that mean one is "earning the shot" but the other isn't? No, both have earned it, just in different ways. I appreciate the skill of guys who hunt from stands, but it's just not for me. I can't sit still that long. 😂

What's the name of shooting/hunting ranch you were talking about? My google response was a winery. Also, I grew up around large animals and they can hurt you really bad. The big thing most people don't realize is just how fast these animals can move and how unpredictable they are. One other thing and I have seen people doing this and lucky nothing happened. If you see an animal with a newborn and you are compelled to take pictures don't approach the animals to do so even if they appear to be domesticated livestock.
