I live on the edge of the town so I benefit from surrounding woodland and greenery, it's no where like rural....which is my dream....but not the wifes !

Great to watch - I hope you're feeling better very soon - nasty cough going around here also. The new spaniel puppy here, who is named Thistle, is doing very well. 12 weeks old now and working on placeboards (2 at this point) and doing well. She pays attention very well and has had nice runs through the long grass in the fields with the older dog (Sonsie). Thanks for your videos - learning a lot from them and enjoy them all. Best Wishes from Nova Scotia, Canada

'Thistle', I'll add that to my name list ! You never know when another pup will arrive ! Don't bombard the pup with too much, build the bond, manners, game play, keep it light, always finish whatever your doing on a positive .

@@northlawgundogs5254 excellent advice and we're following this way - she is a little cracker and so fun to be with. Little bit of training, lots of playing and cuddles and she's fitting into the family just wonderfully! Glad you like the name - some think it's weird, but you're not the first to add it to a name list :D

Great dogs! Do they never chase a scent or run of?
@northlawgundogs5254Ай бұрын
They will follow scent of course, the 3 adults ‘pick up’ on shoots, they know their limits and rarely go too far….if they do they are recalled .

Which of the two breeds do you find easiest to train
@northlawgundogs5254Ай бұрын
Labs are way easier but Springers more satisfying when things start to come together.
