@samsolitaryroll7 жыл бұрын
I'm aware, it's just my roundabout way for saying "I agree" hehehehe Really? The amount of rice looked like it's just enough to fill you up without overeating IMO, especially with the size of the chunk meats. Similar amount to a single nasi rames meal from warteg I assume (can't find the English equivalent for those two jargons, lol). At least I think I can finish a can in one sitting.

FYI "habang" is a native language from Kalimantan Selatan (South Borneo) which means red, usually the color of chilli pepper. your pronunciation is almost correct, "ha" is pronounced like the "ha" in "kamehameha" (I can't think of a better example, lol) and the "bang" is pronounced similar to "bunk" without the "~k" sound in the end, similar to how we pronounce "lung" but change "l" with "b" (again, can't think of anything better). So habang more or less pronounced as"ha-bung" or something like that.... It's really difficult explaining pronunciation in writing.

This is a well designed and tasty looking ration man. Those milk powder energy tabs especially are smart, I think it would make sense to issue every man with an emergency ration consisting of a pack of those some enriched dark chocolate bars ect. Would be easy to issue in a mini MRE style pouch, would fit well in backpacks rucksacks ect. Just so they have something to keep them on their feet if an op goes totally FUBAR and they're unable to be supplied with rations as usual for a few days. Anyways, I'd be interested to hear your take on the idea, cheers dude!

Good items, not as much as some 24 hr. rations, but substantial. Previous statements, bringing up. Languages, sometimes, do not translate correctly. We have friends, Croatia, Poland, Scotland, New Zealand, Australia, and others. We compare notes, amongst ourselves, see what is acceptable, or , understood in other languages. Sometimes, well, does not come through, but we try, best as we can. If we understand, other countries, food, language, we all will be better off, Humbled, Peace, John. Shows the difference between East and West. Most U.S. soldiers eat mostly MRE's when they are on patrol or in forward locations. They do not care for plain, or monotonous meals; they complain about even the meals served in mess halls, so if they don't have the extra sauces, salt, pepper, etc. they will let whoever they can know how bad the food is. As Napoleon said, "An Army travels on it's stomach."
