Two different players, you can't compare them. In Rants eyes, Gerrard is purely pace and power. Rants was obviously hibernating in a cave when Gerrard was displaying top tier passing range, skill, shooting, versatility, etc, so there's no point. Gundogan has always been a good player. However, he's probably shown elite player ability over the last two seasons at City. Before that, he was tidy and was a good passer (at City).
