Pretty cool Contra-style run and gun game from Irem featuring pilotable vehicles and a decent range of weapons.
The later sequel, GunForce II, features better graphics and comes from the same team who would go on to create the Metal Slug series.

I also remember this game being somewhat difficult to play. Plus that "baa-ahh-ahh-ahhhhh!!!!" sound your character made when he died.

naw, its offbrand contra. not quite as good, got a bit of jank in that taste, but on the surface looks the same. from the start on a south asian island jungle, to fighting an alien on a wall at the end. hah.

@@micblades1117 What are you talking about? This isn't the SNES port. If it was, the sound would be much worse, and the camera would scroll so slowly it would effectively make the entire game an auto-scroller. I couldn't have made any of that up if I tried.

The fact that you touch the enemies and you don't die makes this game too easy....it would more challenging if you die by touching them...I had never seen this game before it reminds of contra.
