Always good Krusty. Your woes remind me of cooking snags on a rusty old spade 'cause we forgot a frying pan, or a mate absentmindidly bringing two rod ends, but no stock. Ha Ha. I fished the Gungarlin 35 years ago. My old man fly fishing upstream from your spot, me, downstream with small 'Rooster Tail' lures. Almost every cast hooked a 10 inch Brown trout. Open plains bordering the river, me simply wading midstream. All catch and release, just fun. The Gungarlin is the highest river in Australia. Sounds like Snowy 2's big drill bit isn't stuck anymore? Enjoy all your travels digger. 👍👍👍

@@aguyandhistroopy yeah before the nps gate at the river. Been a couple of years since I have been down there so sorry for the vague directions but on your way to the campgrounds there is an overgrown track to the right, on the lower side of the road as you head up hill at approximately 110 degrees to a 90 degree corner. Only a hundred meters or so down the track towards the powerlines you will find the hut

It’s called a ‘ Dunny Buddy ‘ it’s handy if ya going bush to do a shit, protects the roll and you can put it on the ground. There is one for paper towel called a ‘ Paper Pod ‘ I don’t think it’s as good. They are a little pricey, but they work. 👍🏼 Cheers for watching Andy. 🍻

Funny that, I’ve never had an issue. Always just pull up and slam it on, guess I’ve been lucky, but it’s regularly adjusted. Its is the rear drums style of handbrake, think that are better then the newer styles. Cheers for watching Darren, and for the comment. 👍🏼

I have watched a few KZbin clips on this place. It looks like a great spot although you may have thought a bit differently living in Davey’s hut in the dead of winter. Bad luck about the rod and lures. You are a tackle shop’s dream. It looked pretty mild. How long back did you film this if you don’t mind me asking. Once again a great production. Enjoyed the footage of the drive in.

Hey mate, this was filmed in late Late November, it was when I filmed my stepping back from KZbin episode. It would have been bloody cold and a long horse ride to get supplies. Shit happens with the broke rod, now I have a couple more suitable for trout fishing but they still not helping me ! 🤦🏽 Cheers for watching 🍻
