Hello, I love Gunkan Suship and all the different variations of the deck one can run. I see you're running a more pure version of Suship but the Suship archetype has great synergy with other cards allowing it to become a very strong rogue deck. The deck is innately strong at going 2nd so I've constructed the deck to go 1st without taking away from the deck's OTK potential. The following information primarily applies to the TCG but most of it can be converted to Master Duel. There are a lot of tech cards worth considering! *Adventure Package: Run this with Suship 100%, it's too good not to. I've found Adventure & board breakers are better than hand traps when it comes to Gunkan. (Maxx "C" in Master Duel being the exception - it's worth running 3 Ash and 2 Called by the Grave because fuck Maxx "C". I also run Baronne De Fleur in Master Duel for the occasional Wandering Gryphon Rider + Ash Blossom play). Adventure is extremely consistent and great for setting up an omni negate or protecting your Suship plays. There is almost no conflict with the normal summon restriction with as much as Suship special summons. Plus Dracoback has synergy with Gunkan Suship Shari.* Painful Decision: Fantastic searcher allowing you to search either Suship Shari or Shari Red. Unexpected Dai: Extender special summon Suship Shari The Phantom Knights of Shade Brigandine: Level 4 extender that pairs well with Time Thief Redoer in the extra deck. *Magikey Spirit - Vepartu: This card opens up what I consider Suship's main 2 card combo line. Gunkan Suship Uni + Shari/Shari Red > Special Uni + Shari > reduce level to 4 > add Shari Red to hand > xyz Vepartu > Vepartu effect add Shari to hand > Shari Red effect reveal Shari > xyz into Shirauo Class Carrier > Draw 1 and add Daily Special (Daily Special also ends up being a draw 1 + add a suship monster to hand) > xyz F0: Utopic Future > xyz F0: Utopic Draco Future. This 2 card combo ultimately puts a nasty boss monster on the board, adds 6 cards from deck to hand, and you still haven't used your normal summon!* Gallant Granite & Barrier Statue of the Drought: Feel like being degenerate? Since Suship can often combo without using your normal summon... why not make a Gallant Granite and search for a Barrier Statue of the Drought to use as your normal summon? Or you can add a Nibiru, the Primal Being to hand. Forbidden Droplet: Say Less. Even better if you can use with Water Enchantress, Dracoback, Lightning Storm, or Raigeki as free discard fodder. (i.e. Activate Raigeki and then chain droplet - Raigeki can be sent from the field as a bonus discard and the effect still resolves). *Gaia Dragon, the Thunder Charger: This lets you xyz climb your Gunkan Suship Uni-class Super-Dreadnought into a 4 material Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder. Gunkan Suship Shari Red is a very potent "1 card combo" if you have another Shari to reveal. Go into your Uni-class Super-Dreadnought, replenish the 1 card you used from your hand, negate an opponents card, attack directly for 2900, and then xyz climb into a 4 material Zeus!! Daigusto Emeral can later be used to recycle your Uni-Dreadnought, Gaia Dragon, & Zeus from your GY for round 2 fight! What's great is that with the Vepartu combo and Daily Special you can guarantee yourself to have this follow up Zeus play.* Toadally Awesome/Bahamut Shark Package: Instant Fusion & Ready Fusion + 2 Rare Fish in the extra deck = free level 4 extenders. This also pairs well with 3x Tenyi Spirit Shthana. One copy of Megalosmasher X also has great synergy with your copies of Unexpected Dai which can help you turbo out Bahamut Shark. You can also add 1-2 copies of Night Sword Serpent (a bit more bricky but a good discard for your Adventure Package or Forbidden Droplet and can also be sent to GY with Foolish Burial - this is more consistent in TCG where Adventure is full power). Takes up 4 extra deck slots but adds ~10 water attribute extenders that can help play through negates or summon a sick boss monster. (Sadly Toadally Awesome was banned in Master Duel but is still viable in TCG) Infinitrack Fortress Megaclops: Another strong extra deck option. Pairs well with Bagooska or Bahamut Shark/Toadally Awesome as you can use Megaclops effect to recycle them. *Utopia Double & Double or Nothing!: Adds a garnet to the deck but opens up incredible OTK potential. Summon Utopia off of Utopia Double, Utopia negates it's own attack which makes Double or Nothing! live and brings Utopia's attack to 10,000. (It's over 9 fucking thousand!!)* Utopia Package: It does add 2 more bricks to the deck but takes the deck's power to the next level. 3x ZS Ascended Sage, this is a free special summon and just further enhances the previously mentioned Vepartu combo. 1x Reinforcement of the Army + 1-2x Zexal Construction to search your Ascended Sage. This effectively gives you 5-6 copies of Sage to go into your Utopia plays. It's niche but does come up where Zexal Construction allows you to shuffle a garnet back into your deck if you do draw Double or Nothing! Ascended Sage + any level 4 normal or special summon > Utopia Double > Add Hyper Rank-Up-Magic Utopiforce > Add Double or Nothing! and xyz climb into Utopia > Utopia Prime > Use Rank-Up and summon Number 99: Utopia Dragonar > Dragonar effect summon Ultimate Leo Utopia Ray > Rank-Up becomes material from GY > Leo effect to equip ZW - Pegasus Twin Saber > During opponent's draw phase use Dragonar effect again and summon Number 38: Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic Galaxy or you can summon Number 4: Stealth Kragen, or wait until you use your other negates and summon out a Number 41: Bagooska the Terribly Tired Tapir. If you draw ZW - Pegasus Twin Saber with no way to shuffle back then Dragonar into Number 38 & 41 or Number 4: Stealth Kragen is the play. *Mathmech Kit: Another very strong option consisting of Mathmech Circular, Diameter, Nabla, and Superfactorial in the main deck. Primathmech Alembertian, Laplacian, & PSY-Framelord Omega in the extra deck. Any two level 4 will let you xyz into Alembertian > Add Circular > Circular send Nabla > Laplacian tributes itself to summon Nabla from GY > Circular triggers and adds Superfactorial > Nabla tributes itself to summon Diameter > Circular + Diameter synchro into Omega > Omega effect > Superfactorial on opponents turn into Laplacian. This will ultimately rip 2 cards from your opponents hand and potentially a monster and/or a spell/trap from the field + Laplacian will have an omni negate during your opponent's turn due to Diameter. The Uni & Shari (Vepartu) 2 card combo can be altered in Mathmech. Go into Alembertian first and proceed with the combo I just described but instead of synchro for Omega you will xyz for Vepartu, then Shari red effect into Carrier, and then go into F0: UDF* The Mathmech and Utopia versions of Suship in my opinion are tied at #1 but the Toadally Awesome variation is also a lot of fun. Utopia can set up a stronger board and Mathmech is more consistent setting up a solid board. The Utopia Suship variant has an ideal 1st turn board of 5 negates (1x Omni, 1x Spell, 3x Monster). While the Mathmech version aims for 2 or 3 negates, ripping 1 or 2 cards from your opponent's hand and bouncing up to 1 monster and 1 spell/trap. Here is an example of the Suship Mathmech deck that I run in TCG. (40 card deck) Monster: 3x Gunkan Suship Shari 3x Gunkan Suship Shari Red 3x Gunkan Suship Uni 2x Gunkan Suship Shirauo 1x Gunkan Suship Ikura 1x Mathmech Circular 1x Mathmech Diameter 1x Mathmech Nabla 1x Tenyi Spirit - Shthana 1x Wandering Gryphon Rider 3x Water Enchantress of the Temple Spell: 1x Unexpected Dai 1x Foolish Burial 3x Rite of Aramesir 1x Fateful Adventure 1x Dracoback, the Rideable Dragon 2x Painful Decision 2x Triple Tactics Talent 3x Forbidden Droplet 1x Double or Nothing! 1x Called by the Grave 1x Raigeki Trap: 1x Gunkan Suship Daily Special 1x Mathmech Superfactorial 1x The Phantom Knights of Shade Brigandine Extra: 1x Gunkan Suship Uni-class Super-Dreadnought 1x Gunkan Suship Ikura-class Dreadnought 1x Gunkan Suship Shirauo-class Carrier 1x Magikey Spirit - Vepartu 1x Abyss Dweller 1x Daigusto Emeral 1x Primathmech Alembertian 1x Primathmech Laplacian 1x Number 39: Utopia 1x Number 39: Utopia Double 1x Number F0: Utopic Future 1x Number F0: Utopic Draco Future 1x Gaia Dragon, the Thunder Charger 1x Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder 1x PSY-Framelord Omega Side: 1x Number 41: Bagooska the Terribly Tired Tapir 1x Tornado Dragon 1x Gallant Granite 1x Barrier Statue of the Drought 3x Nibiru, the Primal Being 3x Lava Golem 3x Lightning Storm 2x Raigeki
